Hurricane Milton struck Florida's Gulf Coast on October 9, 2024, severely affecting many of the communities where Habitat for Humanity is working across the state. In the wake of the storm, Habitat for Humanity affiliates will be undertaking cleanup and recovery work. In the long-term, Habitat affiliates will be ready to help their communities rebuild with resilient housing.
